Marion Burns serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Drakeel Enterprises, LLC and is a motivational speaker. He helps position the company for funding, acquisition and growth.

Marion worked for nearly three decades at New York Life Insurance. NYL specializes in life and health insurance, annuities and investment products. Marion started at the Fortune 500 Company as an agent who sold company products. He eventually worked his way up to general manager of his own branch office that generated nearly $300 million in revenue each year. As a GM, Marion oversaw a staff of more than a dozen people and 70 agents.

Marion retired from NYL. Today, he is active in the community as a lifetime member of the NAACP. He is the Chairman of the Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce. Marion sits on the board of the Bluffton Historical Preservation Society and is a member of the Dedicated Black Men of Jasper County. During his spare time, he enjoys golfing and vintage music.

Marion lives in the Hilton Head, SC area. He is married. He has a daughter and stepdaughter.
